Volunteers are the heart of our hospice. At Al-Mehrab Tibbi Imdad (AMTI), we believe that dying is not merely a medical event—it is a profoundly personal journey. Volunteers help bring comfort, dignity, and human connection to patients and their families during this most delicate stage of life.

Their contributions are not only meaningful, but vital to the success of AMTI. In fact, if we were to replace volunteer time with paid staff, our costs would increase nearly 25%. But the role of a hospice volunteer goes far beyond saving money—it is about making a real difference, one person at a time.
